hi i apllied as refugee to canada from the state but i was denied( i was married to a canadian citizen but i didnt mention it as the laywer told me )i got sent back to the state where i was out of the status so they deported me to my home country. we apllied as spouse sponrship in demascus syria , everything went smooth but after 14 month when they were about to request my passport they send this letter
"I am very unfortunate to deliver some very bad news, Your husbands passport request was denied via file .. You will be receiving a statement of letters in the mail
In regards to why he was denied. Your application states that in 6 month you may appeal the decision or re-apply in 2 years because of a new 1 year ban added to your husbands name. I suggest you re-apply and do not bother to appeal because if the appeal comes back rejected your ban will be for 2 years and will not be able to re-apply for 5 years. I am very sorry for the trouble I have done everything I can to get status but unfortunately because you are not in front of me I am unable to give anymore information through email or phone for confidential reasons. If you have any questions please don´t hesitate to contact me at the 800 number I have provided you and for security reasons I am only able to speak to you. In regards to the statements in the mail it will be the reason of denial, appeal form and the form of which you may request your P-R application refund or may choose to keep it on file for the processing of a new case. Please sign all forms and send them back to the main office of processing in Mississauga. Your file has already been closed and mailed out by the passport request center to the main case processing center."

Visa officers DO NOT write personal friendly letters every time they refuse a spousal sponsorship. Did they send Chocolates with the letter to make you feel better???
Visa Officers do not have a vested interest in you wanting to be with your partner or not! It is the same as a traffic cop who is trying to get cars to slow down in a school zone. You´re speeding, here is your ticket.
All refusals letters are standard and can be found in the manuals.
You were present at your Refugee Hearing and your asked if all the answers on your PIF are true and if anything has changed and you say NO to being married to a man!
Did you make a refugee claim based on a same sex relationship????? Then it would be logical to lie because your original claim was a lie! You shouold not lie anytime though.
Anyone here just has to google IAD Rules to read the time line one has to appeal a spousal refusal. Oh I know your special and that is why CIC & IAD gave you SIX MONTHS to appeal!!!!!
Husband is (banned for one year)---this is not a word (banned) a Visa Officer would use!
Excluded yes but BANNED?
The appeal division can not ask an additional amount of time for exclusion they are there to render a decision on whether or not the Visa Officer erred!

roy u think u know it all , i said exactly wat happen and i have the name of the officer. some ppls unlike u are very nice and polite by the way i am not into same sex marriage . u r right about my name coz i know u r racist and u r not gona answer and the proof u really did answer unlike many posts with my real name so i fake my name only

Nice try with the racist accusation.
Did you lie or did you not lie - I don´t care if you are green... the rules still apply to you. No special consideration because of your ´race´. You messed up - period.
Immigration Officers do not offer advice in their letters of rejection so as Roy has said, go away and don´t come back until you are willing to ask a genuine question with legitimate information.
