| Subject: Lost the landing paper - please help |
I have been living in Ca for a year as a landed immigrant. I was checking my file and could not find a copy of my landing paper. How important is it? I already got my PR Card and SIN. Is it useful any where? If so what should I do to get a copy of it? Please advise.

You need it in order to apply for the Canadian citizenship in the future (either your Record of Landing (IM1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Resident (IMM5292)).
You should apply for a certified true copy, correction, or replacement of an immigration document. More information in the following link:

Hello, I lost a copy of my landing paper and also my PR card will expire in a month....what can I do?

Apply for a new P R Card because your old one is due to expire - and you could apply for a replacement of your landing document too. In the meantime, take your old one with you overseas. When you are ready to come back to Canada, go to the nearest Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate to apply for a travel document (cost $50) back to Canada.

I am now sponsoring my spouse and getting all documents ready for it. But one of the question I had to fill in was asking about my landing confirmation number which I don´t know about.

Hi,sir I´m canadian citizen. I need my refugee claim records because The USA border agency requsting from me. In order to do my job(Truck driver) I lost my papers. But I have the claim ID nomber pleas help me to get the papers.
