Subject: Anybody got AOR and applied at the end of Nov
I applied to Buffalo at the end of Nov 2004, still not AOR yet, I think it must take a little bid longer than I expect due to the strike, holidays.
However, just wondering if anybody applied later than my case got AOR yet?

Thank you

no strike my friend. I think they are just busy and there was some stat holidays stuck in there. Be patient.

Yep, that´s what I thought too. Hi Sharon, based on what I read here, did you finish PR process? Because I seldom saw people finish process are still coming to here, just wondering, thanks

Hi,

From what I´ve been able to see, it´s currently taking Buffalo roughly 4 months to send out Acknowledgement of Receipts for Skilled Worker application. You may receive it sooner, but that seems to be the average.

I applied for permanent residence via spousal sponsorship (FYI - Buffalo views spousal sponsorship applications as a priority so they get pushed through quicker then Skilled Worker applications). My application was forwarded to the Buffalo RPC on August 6th, my AOR wasn´t sent out until October 6th.

And though the question wasn´t directed towards me, there are a few people who still visit the forum despite completing the immigration process themselves...I´m one of them. Buffalo sent out my passport request on December 20th, I received in December 30th, and I sent my passport in to them the beginning of this week....so hopefully I will get back (stamped with my PR visa by the beginning of February).

hey Mel... congratulations. I hope you will stick around. I appreciate your comments.

as for me... I am the Canadian that is waiting for her immigrant man. For a variety of reasons, we decided he should come as a skilled worker rather than as a sponsored spouse. We are coming through Paris.

I am not sure if my memery is correct, however, after I check all-process time around the world, I remeber paris has obviously shorter process time than other European cities, also shorter than Buffalo too.
