Hi,
I am living in canada for last three years, first as a student and now as a worker. I am getting married next month. I am also planning to apply for Permanet Residence. I am not sure if I can apply at Buffalo or not, since my wife is not in Canada but I fulfill the requirement of stay of one year in Canada. Can anyone guide me in this situation.
Thanks

(in reply to: Applying for PR in Buffalo, spouse in home country) If you are the principal applicant, there´s no problem.
Start reading the information about Canadian Experience Class (For people who have recent Canadian work experience or who recently graduated and worked in Canada)

Good luck!

(in reply to: Applying for PR in Buffalo, spouse in home country) Thanks Edu,
So it means I can file the PR application for both of us at Buffalo even if my wife is not in canada. I am the principal application.

(in reply to: Applying for PR in Buffalo, spouse in home country) First u get married, then you apply for PR..Otherwise it will take more time /money to update yours wife name in your PR application.
