Subject: PR File Transfer, if you leave Canada
  Hi Expert,
I was working in Canada from two years. One year ago I applied for permanent residency (PR) in Canada under Provincial Nominee program (PNP) and my PR file is under process. Now I got laid off from my company. So I decided to leave the Canada and go back to home country.
My question is if I leave Canada my immigration file will be transfer to home country? And Still my PR file is valid under PNP after getting laid off from my company?
Please advise?
Thanks,
Raj

My logical guess is: you need to remain employed till the process is complete (landing). I think you are pretty much hosed. Also, since you lost job and not likely to get anything worthwhile (that needs a work permit) anytime soon (3-4 years), my advice is just go back home and stay there. Hopefully you saved a buncha dollars all these months and can float in your country for a few years...
