| Subject: can husband leave back to his home country |
Hi All,
After submitting spouse sponsorship application in CPC Missisauge, can husband leave back to his home country. Or is it compulsory to stay in canada till the whole process of sponsorship gets completed.

If he is a citizen, he can leave. If he is a PR, he must be a resident of Canada to sponsor. He could likely take a short vacation, but he would not be able to temporarily move home.

yes he is a canadian citizen. so can he leave after applying for a longer period of time ? Is there any need to inform anybody before leaving?

Please I would also like to know this? I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my common law spouse from overseas. Once I submit the application to Mississauga can i return to Canada for a couple of months to prepare things for us? Will this be any problem?
