I Applied in Oct 2001, I got Interview had an Interview on 11 Jan 2005.
I reach the consulate @ 8:55 am, my number was 5th, they already approved 4 of them, during my interview, the consular was asking about background, jobs, funds etc.
but One thing I want to bring in your attention,
the consular was asking silly/ dumb question about my profession, while i was answer i figured out that, the person the who was taking interview was having knowledge about the my profession but he was acting like he don´t no any thing.
Interview is easy if you have answers for there question eg. if you have job, bank statment & certificate than it should not be any problem.
remmember : try to show that you are relax. and answer the question with confidence.
I am not trying to scare you but don´t try to take easy nor hard.
it took me 25 min. than the consular told me "we accept you application, if you have any question you may ask me?"

Now I have some qestions if u could help us
1- what did u mean with if u have a job, u mean job in Canada or in your home country?
2- Ofcourse we don´t know there questions, so u would tell us some of there qustions?
3- Do u think that the guy interviewed u was the same profession like ur´s so he has a good knowledge about it? and asked a very specific questions?
4- What questiones u were asked concerning your background?

A. I mean to say, job from the country you apply like United States.

A. Well they only ask about you work experience and residence history and skills of job.
3- Do u think that the guy interviewed u was the same profession like ur?s so he has a good knowledge about it? and asked a very specific questions?
A. He is not really expert but he wasn´t dumb, mean he knows atleast what is the use of tools.
eg. he was asking, what is the use of Oracle, why you are using, VC++, can´t you do every thing with Oracle.
4- What questiones u were asked concerning your background?
A. about work history, residence history funds, relatives in canada etc.
again, it wasn´t so hard but not easy to. atleast for me!!!

I wish i was in your shoe..........congratulation.my question is that*why did u take so long?*was anything missing or found wrong in your document?When are were are u willing to leave for canada?

Well, The negative point was I worked for 2 year in Saudi Arabia!!
even though I had 87 points but it took 3+ Years and Interviews.
But while I check with other 4 peoples, they said, if you have job and experience then its easy.
Note : any body can ask any question about interview, I couldn;t get any solid support while I was in the situation before interviw!!
