I request to answer following question:
After a person gets visa for Canadian immigration under Federal skilled worker category from the Canadian High Commission,how much time is given by the embassy to report in Canada?Can it be extended up to one year or not?

Usually the visa expires when your medicals expire.
Medicals are good for one year.
You cannot extend the visa once issued.

PR visa is valid for one year from the date of your medicals or expiry date of your passport which ever is earlier.
