Subject: trade jobs problem
I have been in Canada for 13 years and have had some interesting jobs, the best being teaching for a year. I was an electrician in British Columbia for a year. My experience as an electrician in Britain is 6 years at the electricity board, ministry of defence and prison service. I also have 10 years experience with electrical contractors. The procedure for applying for an electricians (journeyman electrician) in most Canadian provinces involves providing employers signatures. If not available then another option is by way of an affidavit. This is how I gained my BC permit. However, this option is not available in Alberta.
