D.O.B & Name in Certificate

Subject: D.O.B & Name in Certificate
  I have applied for PR in Canada and got file no. My querie is
- I have no Date of Birth Certificate approved by Registrar. I have only Matric Certificate and Passport. Is it sufficient or not ?
- My matric certificate show my fathers name "Rameshwar Dass Verma " but my all certificate including passport show my fathers name " Ramesh Dass Verma". Is there any Problem ? If yes, plz show the way.

Hi Pradeep,
Yes, there is a problem. Unfortunately, Canadian and US authorities don´t understand that it makes no difference in India. What u have to do is, go to any local district court in India and let the clerk type a declaration in English on a Rs 5 stamp paper, that Ur Father(His name, his relationship to u, ur passport # and residential address, ur date & place of birth is AKA (Also known as)/ by Ur father´s name(His second spelled name). Get it notarized, signed and stamped by district magistrate. This will cost u Rs 500 only.
