Hi. I was just wondering how long does it take for our papers to process. We applied under PNP General Stream and sent our papers to Canada last eyar of August. Nov. 3 2008, they send us a letter asking for additional documents and we were given until the 29th of January 2009 to respond. A week after we received the notification letter, we sent the additional documents. Till then, we haven´t heard anything from them... I´m from the Philippines by the way. I heard that when applying under PNP general stream it only takes 11 months to 1 year for the process to take place, is this true? Thanks in advance.

Hailey, Your situation is almost same as mine. I received an approved PNP after a year. Then, now my family & I finished the medical last Oct.2008. My application is now "in process" since Sept.3, 2008. I don´t know when will be the final decision. Let´s pray...

Hi I too have applied in Dec. 2207 under general stream and received the AOR in Jan 2008, after that nothing. Is there anyone who has got approval with the same time line.

Hello All,
I have sent my application of immigration to manitoba-winnipeg in october.waiting to get a acknowledgement e-mail from the immigration guys. Meanwhile i wanted to enquire few things....Hope some one helps me in clearing these confusions.
1. I will be delivering my baby in this december2009 in United States. How do i inform this to the immigration guys...In the email iam supposed to get..do they give the file number to which i have to refer. What all documents do i have to submit for the baby and within what time limits.
2. My husband is the primary applicant and i applied as his dependent.What if my husband changes his employer? Can this be the reason for rejecting the immigration.
3. Is it mandatory for us to stay in US till we get our immigration...which is an estimate of 2 years from now as per the current timelines. Or can we step out of US and visit our home country and come back to US.
How do i inform all these changes to manitoba immigration.

CAN YOU SHARE WHAT IS THE LATEST UPDATE TO YOUR APPLICATION. WE WENT TO MANITOBA SEPT 08 LAST YEAR TO PERSONALLY SUBMIT OUR APPLICATION. WE´D RECEIVED AOR ONE MONTH AFTER, UNTIL THEN WE HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING.....
JUST WONDERING IF YOU GUYS ARE STILL ON AWAITING PERIOD.

IF I WAS ASSESSED 63 PTS. UNDER THE FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER, AND GOT A BAND SCORE OF 5.5 WITH IELTS. DOES THAT MEAN I AM MORE QUALIFIED TO APPLIED TO BE NOMINATED WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF MANITOBA?
