Subject: Provincial(Alberta) processing time for H1B USA
Would appreciate if anyone knows how long(processing time) it would take, for the PNP application to Alberta, from the USA under the H1B category.

Thanks for the help,

Walker.

Any ties to the Province of Alberta... (in reply to: Provincial(Alberta) processing time for H1B USA)
Heard even regular Skilled Worker, takes around that time(9-12 months)... then what difference it would make...
Also if I go to Alberta, would I be tied to that Province, that I won´t be able to move to any other province in Canada for work...

Thanks,

You can only apply under new rules if your occupation falls under one of the 38 NOC codes. You can move to other provinces though that would be misrepresentation, as your PR will be based on your intention to stay in Alberta. However, I have not heard of someone losing his PR over this.

Well...The advantage is you don´t need a Employee Offer Letter to go to Canada in the AINP
