Subject: Temporary ---> Pernament |
Hey folks.
I´m a german citizen, and want to apply for temporary work permit in Canada(Toronto). Would it be possible for me to apply for a pernament residence after some years?If yes, then how long should I work in Canada before I can do so?
Thank you very much for any answers=)

(in reply to: Temporary ---> Pernament) Hey Anton,
I don´t think that you have to wait any before you apply for a permanent residency. You can go and work as a temp and meanwhile you should be pushing things for the permanent residency, given you qualify for the skilled worker program.
In my case I was studying in Canada but I have had my application for PR moving, it took nearly 2 years so you really don´t have to wait.
Good Luck
Polina
