Subject: Must the photocopies be notarized
I am in the process of submitting my application for FSW (Arranged Employment) stream

Must I notarize the photocopies of documents such as Degree Certificate, Work Permit, Passport etc or its not compulsory?

Please advise

Thanks

S.

For your diploma more likely you will need to send the original for inspection and then the officer will return it back to you.

However, different embassies have different requirements.

Cheers,

I submitted just copies of my documents, they were not notarized. If they are translation from another language the translation company got them notarized already and you should just make photocopies of the translations plus the originals staple them together and wait if they need more they will ask.
All the best

Photocopies are fine for most documents, except for transcripts and reference letters from your employers. Never send original documents such as passport, degree certificate, tax forms, etc. unless you have been asked to.
