Come on, don´t be naive guys; Judy was just sacrificed by the conflict with Conservative and Liberal. If anybody is familiar with her background, you gonna know that Judy actually began her political career with Toronto Municipal police.
I guess she is kind of familiar with municipal affairs, have no experience on Federal level. The exotic dancing ended her minister position, She should not have full responsibility, Tory always tried to pick up those tiny mistake and attack, furthermore, and they always have no constructional policy.
CIC??s problem is not individual problems, it relates to bureaucratic, lack of monitories est. One person got resign, can not speed up our process, ok?

Yijie is right. many of the policies Ms. Sgro is getting shot for (including the exotic dancers) came way before her time. This is about politics. She has actually resigned because she tried to help an immigrant applicant - out of turn from the process.
In some countries, bribes, favours and corruption are a part of every day life - here you cannot even help someone without losing your job.
This does not change the day to day world of CIC. She is the elected official that oversees the department. She has nothing to do with the every day activities. Nothing to worry about.

I just stumbled on this website and I can´t believe the positions some people take. Minister Sgro resigned because she made a promise that she couldn´t possibly keep just to get votes. WAKE UP and read the newspapers and do a bit of research before making uninformed statements.
