Subject: Case Rejected after Six Years; Please Help
  Dear All,

I am a lecturer at a top business schools in northern India. After six years of waiting, the Canadian high commission in New Delhi rejected my application for permanent resident saying that i am ineligible as a skilled workers because I am not teaching students, preparing lectures etc. This is an absolutely baseless ground for rejection because I certainly am preparing lectures, teaching students and in fact have been recently promoted at the University.

1) Guys - could somebody please advise on what my family´s options can be at this point? the Canadians will certainly not respond to any messages sent directly by us to the high commission.they never do. So perhaps there are some legal options? has somebody done these before on this forum?

2) Are there any options to hire legal help in Canada to deal with this rejection from New Delhi? or does the action need to be taken in India itself?

3) Is there a way for me to request a interview with the people who rejected the application so that I can clarify their misunderstandings? again the problem is that they never respond to e-mails or letters so how to go about doing this

any help will be very very appreciated!
thank you all

hi (in reply to: Case Rejected after Six Years; Please Help)
Hello

Dont give up, if they have given you a chance to appeal then go for it. try to find a good lawyer, if you can afford then go for some lawyer in Canada.
