Hi friends !
I want to apply for Canada immigration as a Federal skilled worker. My qualification is BE Electrical (Electrical Engineer which is not in the latest NOC list but my experience is more than 10 years in Thermal Power plant. As per recent NOC list my experience is matching with code 9212-supervisor/foreman-power plant.Being an engineer, can I apply as a formen/supervisor ?
Plz guide me urgently.

(in reply to: Qualification is not in the latest list.Plz guide) when you look at the NOC list, make sure you look at the expanded version. there is about 20 job titles that fall under each catergory. If you can match your job skills to one of the expanded titles - then you have an opportunity.
years of experience does not mean you have supervisory skills - what are your current responsibilities - that is the question.
if you cannot find a fit on the NOC codes, the other option is to find someone that will extend a job offer for a work permit or provincial nominee designation.
As you know, the economy is not great at the moment so the 2 alternatives will be a challenge.
