Hi All
i am a supervisor(Chemical Engineer) working for a very big OIl refinary and specialized in handling fluidized catalytic cracking plant(UOP Process)and Polyproylene plant.
My profession is already listed there in CIC website.
But seems applying for immigration will take more time.what is scope of refining(Oil&Gas)field in canada? How to proceed for work permit as this is a shorter route to be there.
Thanks in Advance

(in reply to: Canada Job Market) Should´ve been very bright in Alberta, at least 1 year back. Not sure now, as with oil price down their demand has gone down and people are losing jobs.
Still you should look there.

(in reply to: Canada Job Market) Have a look at New Brunswick too. Irving Oil is based here and professionals are hard to come by. The pay is unlikely to be what you are used to, but the cost of living is relatively low by Canadian standards. Housing is affordable and the housing market is surprisingly strong.
