I received call for medical in April 2009. However I couldn´t do it then as my wife was pregnant. Our lawyer indicated the same to the Buffalo office. We finally completed the medical exam and results were sent to Ottawa in first week of Jan. We haven´t heard from the buffalo office since then. Our lawyer (a well known one from downtown Toronto) asked me to be patient and wait for 4 months at least before we hear a from CIC. I have no issue with waiting but just want to be sure if they the medicals have reached Buffalo office and there is nothing else required. I would be going out of Canada for a long time atleast 2-3 months.
