if there is nothing prventing you from getting married or living common law - conjugal sponsorship is a waste of time and money. Living in different places is not a good enough reason.

Conjugal is very unlikely ~ you need to prove that there is a legal reason why you are not able to marry or live together for a year. Barring the fact that divorce is illegal in your country or same-sex marriages are not recognized in your country, your application has a very very slim chance of succeeding.
