How´s everyone doing? Sharon, Roy, Richard, DC, CBV, Almost Canadian.

I was in a nice long vacation away from the white cold stuff. I went to California, Florida, Texas, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic.

I couldn´t stop checking the weather in Fort McMurray and Kelowna. I had a big smile when I was in the wet bar holding a brew while reading the weather channel web page.

I just wanted to stop and say hi I´m back in the Great White North.

Cheers,

Bill

Welcome back Bill. Glad to hear you had a good (and warm!) vacation. It is much needed this time of year.

We´re still frozen on the east coast, though slowly thawing out. There´s still nearly two feet of snow in the backyard--it takes A LOT of warmish days to thaw this amount of snow!

We´re off soon for a bit of cabin fever relief as well. We´re looking forward to the good beer for sure.

Hope you´re glad to be back!

Sorry wannabe I didn´t mention your name in my previous post, I knew I was forgetting someone.

Snow is on its way out, pretty soon the spring will be here.

Glad to see you guys still kicking around here.

Cheers,

Bill

It´s about time you checked in with us, Bill! We were getting a bit worried. Sounds like a great vacation was had.

Speaking of having a brew, it would be interesting to take a survey of favorite beers here sometime. You guys may laugh, but I found myself liking Labatt Blue pilsner while up there.

The darker the better - Absolutely correct.

That´s why Coke is my favorite:).

Adaptation problem (Coke over beer). Are you settled in GTA yet?

Roy,
Classic Coke. Though as a matter of fact some reason I like RC cola as the best.

Richard,

Not really. First 2 motnhs will be alone, staying in a freind´s place. Will be little tough as I wouldn´t have car. Then look for a home/apt. closer to the office before final moving. My office is in Markham, though that is a god area of rent/real estate is expensive.

Depending on the season, Guinness and oatmeal stout followed closely by extra hoppy IPAs. Sadly, the IPA is unknown in eastern Canada and our beer selection here is next to nil. When in Maine, we stock up on Shipyard. Sebago Brewery in Portland also makes an excellent IPA, and anything from Portsmouth Brewing Company in NH is unbeatable.
