Subject: Am I being singled out? |
Does it normally take this long or is mine just different? As a Quebec applicant, I submitted my application to CIC London for PR in Nov. 08 and have yet to receive AOR- not even a word from them and it is April 09!

(in reply to: Am I being singled out?) it all depends on the speed they process the cqses qnd the number of cqses they have. the fact that u have CSQ is already a good thing and will give u time...
ure not necessarily singled out, just wait for them...u can try e-mailing them to rquest info

(in reply to: Am I being singled out?) Thanks for your concern. It´s just that I have just recently got married and it would have been lovely to have had at least a reference number by now so that I can update them on my change of status. I know that I have to get a new CSQ which obviously covers both my wife and I but how can I do that now without jeopardizing the whole thing?

(in reply to: Am I being singled out?) one sure thing is you have to let them know of any changes...specially a marital status...i´m not sure if you have to inform quebec immigration about it and get a new CSQ cos i believe u got married after u got, but again i´m not sure and you should contact quebec immigration and let them know and ask about it!
make sure u do the right things in a timely manner to avoid any delays.
you should also look at the websites and see if you find info there.
try e-mailing them and explaining your situation they might give u some answers or refer you to where u can find the information.
so far u´re doing the right thing by trying to inform them...
