Hii All,
I want to check that Canada PR is initially valid for how many years and when it is required to renew it?
Moreover, I also want to know that when I can apply for Citizenship while on PR. What is the time duration that one has to spent in Canada on PR visa before eligible/apply for citizenship of Canada.
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

The card is valid for 5 years.
You need to remain in Canada for 730 days out of 5 years to retain your status.
You need to be in Canada 3 out of 4 years to be able to apply for Citizenship.

Just a little cautionary note about the citizenship requirements as I see many PRs make the mistake.
It must be physical presence in Canada for at least 3 years within the last 4 years. Meaning, you can´t count the days that are past 4 years from the day you are applying.
