Hi...I sponsor my mom to move to Canada in March 2007. I haven´t yet received any info as yet from immigration other than the letter stating that they received my application 2 yrs ago.
The problem is ...I sent in my application in March 2007 and I left Canada in April 2007 to study in another country. I calculated the time it should take for the application to process and by then my course will be finish and I will move back home to Canada to take care of my mom and the rest of the family.
Just wondering if this will affect my application? I have every intention of returning to live in canada permanently.
Myself, my sister and brother have been separated from our mom since childhood. I haven´t seen her for 13 yrs.... I worked a lot after high school so that I can make the income cut off for sponsorship. I decided that I need a better education to support us all. So now am doing my engineering degree in australia. I will finish next year
So.. do you think me being away from canada will affect my application. I still do my taxes and have apartment and bank accounts in canada....?
Please let me know your honest opinion. I am canadian citzen. I cannot contact the immigration in mississauga as the number is not register from overseas...
