I applied for Skilled immigration to Canada. I have to fill IMM008 and others within this month. I also have arranged employment. What are the next steps and how long do I have to wait to get the visa stamp?

fingerprinting/records check (in reply to: Time taken)
I have been trying to get my fingerprints approved for over 8 months for residency in another country. The first time exceeded 6 months hence unusable. They were resubmitted and 4 months later they tell me they never received them. Calls and messages go unanswered, emails ignored. I am a Canadian citizen abroad and at a loss as to what I can do. Does anyone have a direct number to a real person????
