| Subject: PR Refused, can I still apply as a Student |
Hello !
My PR was refused since I was minus 2 marks. Can I still apply for a student visa ? will they deny that based on the PR rejection ?
pls can any one advise...

Hi, I don´t think you should have a problem applying as a student - I had applied for PR but withdrew it, applied for a student visa and was approved. I think it all depends on where you apply and what for - your PR application/refusal shouldn´t be taken in to consideration. However, please don´t take this as fact, this is just how I understand it based on my own experience!

one major hurdle... a student visa is only issued if CIC is reasonably confident you will return home at the end of your courses. By applying for PR you just told them otherwise.
It is worth a try but I would say your chances are low.
