Subject: Wrong instructions from Etobicoke!! |

As part of the second stage requirements for an in-Canada spousal sponsorship my spouse was asked to submit Federal and State police certificates from Mexico. In the letter we received requesting the police certificates we were told that were would be instructions sent out to us on how to obtain these certificates.
After almost 3 months (and may calls to the CIC call centre) we received the instructions from etobicoke asking for fingerprints, copy of passport, etc to be sent to the Canadian embassy in Mexico.
After sending all the requested documents I contacted the visa office in Mexico via email provided on the embassy´s web-site telling them about the situation and the documents I sent (to make sure I or Etobicoke hadn´t missed anything).
The embassy responded the next day with a different set of instructions!! Even the mailing address where the documents were to be sent to was not the same!!!
What should I do now??

(in reply to: Wrong instructions from Etobicoke!!) Go to www.cic.gc.ca
Main page right side at the Bottom "Have a Criminal or Medical Check done.
Follow the links to Mexico.
Then do the instructions.

Mo a little knowledge is dangerous when the partner of your dreams is involved.
