I have applied for Canada immigration under FSW class on June 2008. In my application I mentioned my occupation as ?Engineer?.
Now Status of my application shows ?We transferred your application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia-C-50 office on March 2, 2009. The Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office may contact you.? It sounds that my application will be sent back.
In 38 occupation list I can see one of the occupations meets with my job description but in my application I did mention only ?engineer?.
Now I would like to take suggestion, Should I wait till the application returns back to me (I am doubtful how long it will take) or apply again mentioning my occupation as stated in circulated 38 occupation list?
Can anyone suggest?

The Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office is responsible for evaluating all applications and sending them further to respective visa offices for further processing. So Nova Scotia office is determining whether your application can be further processed under new 38 occupation list. If yes, they will forward to another visa office, otherwise will decline the application.
Also the occupation is decided based on the job responsibilities, not by the mere title "engineer"

CALL FROM CIO ON TRANSFERRED APPLICATION (in reply to: Any Suggestion.....)
Many of you of this forum- application has been transferred to NOVA SCOTIA in March, 2009. Any body from them have you received any response from CIO to submit full application to visa office. please inform as I am on the same boat.
