Subject: Getting Married to my Jamaican Fiancee
  Hello,

I have to admit that this is a lot more difficult than I had anticipated. I am trying to get my fiancee and his 2 year old son which I plan to adopt to come to Candad to live. I don´t even know where to start. My fiancee will be coming to visit for a few monthes this summer but after that I don´t know what to do next. Should we marry there? Do I adopt his son there? Or do I wait until he comes?

Any suggestions?

there is no way to sponsor your fiance unless you have been actively living common law for a year or you get married.
