Hello everyone.
I went to my PRRA interview few days ago and i was supposed to submit PRRA application, however, because i didnt have a valid travel document ( my passport was expired long time ago), the officer said i cant submit PRRA application in the meantime. She asked me to come report to them every month and have home phone bills as well until they decide what they want to do with my case. since applying to new password from backhome will take a long time to process .
My question is : since i dont have PRRA application submitted yet, can i apply for inland sponsership?? Iam already engaged but havent wed yet so i thought of taking advantage of the time being if possible???

RUN DON´T WALK TO THE CHAPEL!!!!

The Manuals ENF 2 and ENF 10 and the Good News for Spouses Public Policy does not apply to persons deemed removal ready by being already called to a PRRA!

Now we had a guy who never received a PRRA result in three and a half years who did submit a spousal application about six months before he got the results. CBSA told him to go home and before he got on the plane CPC Vegreville approved his marriage.

Timing will be a major issue in your case so you need to prove your relationship like Mr. Magoo. Get letters from friends with status documents attached.

Your name leads one to believe it will not be an excessive time to obtain a passport for you but not knowing where you are from could....

Best of Luck

Thanks you Roy for your feedback

My fianc? is from Lebanon and its really complicated to renew a passport there because they need to exempt him from the military service etc..

1- So what do you think will happen in this case? will the CBSA simply wait for him till he gets a new passport while we can do the "in land sponsership" ? or can they cancel PRRA option they offered him initially and send him straight back home?

2- I would like also to clarify one thing about sponsership and social assistance. as its obvious, no one under social assistance can sponser someone. BUT what if this person is ONLY listed as "adult dependent" NOT the primary person on the file/application. will this still be a problem? and is there minimum income requirement?

Thank you very much in advance
