Hi Tom,

The best way for Canada, is under Skilled Migration where you need 67 points and for Australia you need 120 points under skilled independent migrant visa.

This generally take less time b/w 12-15 months.
Or it depends on your location.

Canada :- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp
Australia:- http://www.immi.gov.au/

But please consult with Consultant, before moving ahead.

Thanks,
Simran

Thanks Simran
i am planning to file through CIC New Delhi or CIC London.
i have never seen a case where CIC cleared the immigartion with 12-15 months.
CIC website is showing anything around 5 yrs whereas the australian immigration takes around 3 yrs.
Are you sure it takes less than 15 months for Canada if all of my documnets are in oreder?
thanks in advance
Tom

CIC introduced some new rules a few months back. New applications will get a yes or no answer within a year. Catch is there is a limited number of skills that qualify.

Slow down... don´t rush...
The best thing to do is search for jobs in both countries. Whichever country you can get an offer, go for it... if you have more than 1 offer, decide based on income, stability, job safety and crime rates of places... Going to Australia is very easy if you have a Company Sponsor, it will take less than a month and you can get your long stay VISA... To canada, try to get AEO or LMO before starting the process... once you have that you can file your application and will take less than a year...
Advise: Go to canada, better place to find gas and oil jobs... bigger place is mor stable...

hi i´m planning to file application for canada immigration under federal skilled worker. however I still lack points and I think my only chance to increase my points is through the offer of employment. Can you please assist me on where to find job postings that will offer arranged employment options? thanks a lot.

Hi Tom,

That´s correct that through AEO, things move faster. AEO - Arranged Employment Opinion, wherein you have to look options for your emolment. Once you get the employer, then things can move faster.

But, I believe, unless and untill you have good contacts in Canada, its difficult to get AEO.

The best way is to approach for PR.

Simran.
