Subject: If no families in the wedding,is this red flag?
  Hello guys,,,

Because I am not living in my home country, and i am in USA with student visa, and my spouse came to me alone because as you know everyone of her family is working or studying,so she came to me alone and we got married,to issue our marriage documents for sponsoring me,and we are planing to make a big wedding when i will be there.

We did small one when she came to me,and went to restaurant me and her ,i took some pictures with wedding clothes for us.

Do you guys think it is a red flag on my case ?

what should i say and write?

is it good true excuse to say we will make big wedding in Canada?and i will try to invite my mother to be with me?

and if i said that her mom and sister came with her, because she has some pictures with her family with wedding clothes too.

will CIC check electronically if her family left Canada at that time with her or not?

I am really confused and scared !!!

and need your opinions and experience

Thanks

tell them the truth. never be afraid of the truth and make sure you apply as OUTLAND sponsorship in case you are faced with an appeal. Inland has no appeal provision.

Not trying to scare you but you are going to have to explain how you would have such a big event in your lives with nobody to share it with you. If your culture is big on weddings - even more so. JUST EXPLAIN IT. Tell them how it breaks your heart that you could not share this event with her family and how you hope to make things right when the opportunity presents itself.

Pretend you are a lawyer in a courtroom trying to make a case? Don´t be scared - be detailed and don´t assume ANYTHING.

please do advise - about the possible way to explain - in letter? or it will be asked during the interview?

NOOOOOO do not wait for the interview. There is room on the form or add extra pages to the form. Explain everything right away even if you have to write a novel.
