Actually the CIC website listed my lawyer in Canada as my address.... but due to the slowliness and uselessness of my lawyer... can i change the my address in the website?.. or can i send a letter to the CIC in London - advise them to forward any future letter or advise to my address here in the Gulf?.. what are the implications?... bad or good?
I´m having a hard time with my lawyer in Toronto.. they are ignoring me!... (even I did pay them a fortune!)...

(in reply to: Change of Address in CIC website...) Yes, u can do that at anytime. I did the same when my lawyer ditched me. Just remember CIC have their own request form that u have to fill out and fax them. The changes will be displayed on e-client status within one week after they receive ur written request. In addition to that u must send one more fax stating that u want to change ur designated person. Give the details of ur lawer, his address, and ur own details as new authorized person.

(in reply to: Change of Address in CIC website...) Can you tell the company name of your lawyer? This is to help others avoid such attorneys. It would be a great help. Thanks. And yes, you can drop your attorney if you think they became an obstruction rather than help. You need a more recent form on ´the declaration of representative.´ You can download this form from CIC. If you want a blank form let me know. I can mail a PDF form of it. I am at Americanemperor@hotmail.com
