Hello experienced ones..
I am in Canada on a student visa and have received my CSQ from Quebec. My quandary is about question 9 in the Background/Declaration IMM 0008 (of the PR app package). I was under removal proceedings in the US and opted for voluntary departure. The questions asked are about crimes as in criminal offensives, which I am clear off according to my FBI clearance and state police back ground check. So do i need to check yes to any questions, or no and still let them know of it in the space provided. The allegations were of overstaying my Optional practical training and marriage fraud, the later was not proven as i opted VD on the first accusation. Oh heres a twist; so far on the student visa application and work permit application, i have been checking no to similar questions...
I appreciate you time and responses...hope i have not messed up too bad..

The question does not say;
Where you ordered deported?
Where you given an exclusion order?
Where you given an option to voluntary depart from Canada?
It clearly says----been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country?
You were told to leave immediately or this order will become a deportation order.
Of course you have to answer yes and explain below in the box.

Thank you for the advise Roy, i do also want to come clean and not have the burden, just hope it does not ruin my chances of residency here..
