Subject: Change of address form
  Hi everybody

I applied for PR under skilled category in Dec.2004 at Buffalo. Since then i have moved to a different place and havent received the AOR. Should i inform the CIC about the change of address now or wait till the AOR comes and if i need to do it now can anybody tell me from where to get the "Change of address" form and the fax no.

Really appreciate it.

I did not apply through Buffalo but when I had to do the change of address. I did go to the website www.cic.gc.ca. Got the fax number to the consulate I applied from and faxed them a statement (I did not have any change of address form) signed by me with my change of address. It worked for me. I guess you could also call them too.
Got these Nos from the website for Buffalo
Tel. No: (716) 858-9501
Fax No: (716)-858-9591

The Regional Programme Centre in Buffalo doesn´t answer incoming calls. When you call the number listed on their website you get a recorded message.

I would recommend faxing/writing Buffalo and asking them what you should do. When you write them include your old address as well as your new address (also include your name and date of birth..as this may help them match up your fax inquiry with your file should they have it in their possession). If they don´t respond or you get your Acknowledgement of Receipt before you receive their response, fill out and send them the change of address form (including your file number which will be listed on your AOR).
