Please help, the more I read on the official immigration website, the more I see swirling letters! I´m just overwhelmed! Can someone help me with basic info?

My husband is Canadian, two of our children will automatically qualify for Canadian citizenship. My oldest child and myself will have to apply for permanent residents.

I know we will go the family/spouse sponsorship route.

*Can someone list the required documents we will need to complete?

*Tell me the application fees I need to pay? Their calculator lists the forms and their fees but I have no idea which ones I need to pay.

*Help me find a list of approved doctors for our medical exam in Edmonton, AB

Lastly, can anyone give me a rough idea of the medical exam fees??

Thank you so much!

Some people can fill in the forms and do everything themselves but you for one, do not seem to fit into that mold. I suggest you retain a quality representative in Alberta.

Here are the forms you will require.

a few more questions, concerning the new law (in reply to: need help knowing proper forms for family sponsor.)
I´ve been looking for help with an agency but I´m hearing quotes of $3000 which I can´t afford at all.

I´m going to do my best to do this myself.

A pressing question I´m coming up against is regarding the new law passed 04-17-09. I may be reading it incorrectly but my understanding of it is that my children with my Canadian husband would no longer qualify for citizenship. Is that correct??

I think it just means if your husband is not born in Canada but acquired his citizenship through his parents, he can´t pass it on to his child if he chose to have the child born overseas.
