| Subject: US States criminal record history? |

Hello,
I applied with SAP application back in Sept 2006.
We have done medical and submit all the police certificates as requested and today I got e-mail from CIC office requesting us to obtain US States police certificates from Washington State we lived for 5 years in the past.
My wife lived in NY States when she was 19 yrs old ( about 13 yrs ago) for a year so I asked them if she also need to obtain the one from NY and they replied
"The visa officer requested Washington polcice certificates only."
I am wondering how come she does not need to obtain the one from NY...
Does it unnecessary for applicants to submit all the States certificates in the past?

i think it´s because she lived there over 10 years ago
