Help Please!
I just have one question regarding my wife´s situation. I just sent my application (family class) to sponsor my wife. I´ve been reading different forumw and i read some that even though a person(s) did not stay in one country for 6 months or more, CIC is still requesting for Police Clearance to which ever country they visited. My question now is my wife stayed in the USA for almost six months (actually 2 days before 6 months) so im assuming that CIC will ask for FBI clearance. I just sent our application few days ago and already been received. Should she go and get her FBI clearance now so that when CIC ask for it we have on hand or should we wait for the CIC for the request. Also, i read somewhere else about this PC-1 letter from CIC (i have no idea what this letter is). Finally, if my wife will request for FBI clearance what are the requirments. Thank you.

I would wait until asked by CIC to get and send FBI clearance.

u should wait for the request because the FBI report should not be more than 3 months old when CIC receives it
