helo everyone,i would like to go to Vancouver and work as a waiter.
I am 38 yrs old,and i know that i will need a sponsor,but it´s not easy to get a sponsor from oversea(i am from Italy).
What should i do?

the economy is not great in the hospitality sector at the moment. Do you speak multiple languages? there may be some opportunity with the Olympics but even then... your timing is not great.

Forget it. The economy is horrible, and Vancouver even when the economy good is super hard to get jobs in reputible places. Too much competition. I´d say you´re wasting your time.

Economy good or bad, I don´t think we ever need waiters or waitresses in Canada. We already have plenty of students waiting to work part-time to pay for school.
