Dear Friends,
I wanted so ask for an advice on how can I take my 4yrs old son so Canada
My son is using my last BF´s surname (as acknowledged on Birth Cert)
It´s been 3 yrs that I haven´t heard anything from the guy and I don´t even know where he is now. Communication stopped after few month´s I gave birth
Just recently, I married a guy
He wanted to take us to Canada, my problem is that I wanted to take my son
I cannot get consent from the father because I don´t know where is he
What are the documents I can present or include on my application to proove that custody is mine
On our county, there is a Republic act/Law that for all illegitimate child, the sole custody belongs to the mother
Can I present that?
Thank you and I am hoping you can help me
Best Regards,
Maria

(in reply to: Mom want to take her illegitimate child to Canada) Common Sense must prevail.
You had a relationship with him and his family can sign a letter notarized by a JP that they don´t know his location and they are not opposed of you bringing his child to Canada.
