I a PR of Canada. How can I get Legal aid in CANADA particularly in Civil matters pretaining to family.I do not hae any income.I was sponsered by my wife in Canada ad then was kicked out of her residence.Please suggest how can I get legal assistence.
I do not have money to fight for divorce case.
Will it be counted as Social assistence or welfare.Will this have effect on my PR status.
Plese advice.

I do not believe legal aid covers divorce cases.
Fighting a divorce case is tough... in fact I don´t even think you can do it. If someone does not want to be married any more, then they don´t want to be married any more. You can´t force a reconciliation and Canadian law does not require any sort of counselling before a divorce can be granted.

Legal Aid is Provincial and in Ontario it is covered by Legal Aid but you will have to probably be on welfare.
Why fight the divorce if it is over it is over.
Unless you and her have a ton of assets.
