Morning Rant
There is no such thing as a Migration Expert!
Migration Expert is a company in Toronto and elsewhere that is very good at creating a web site. They really post many articles already in the media. I have only a little knowledge of the company.
One thing I do know, if I get one more e-mail asking me about this company I will SCREAM!!!
I visited their office on Eglington Avenue in Toronto about two years ago when they did not have a CSIC member. There was no name on the door of this company. I had to get buzzed in and the door locked behind me automatically. There was only one huge oval table with eight computer screens.
Not one, authorized representative was present. No staff where being supervised directly. Now do they provide quality representation, I do not know and I am not allowed to comment.
Migration Expert CSIC Member "Caroline Velasquez" has a listing of her on Migration Expert and two for CSIC when you google her name with the word Immigration. Seems odd for some one in the business for NINE years.
Migration Expert CSIC Member "Safira Sheikh" has more hits and appears to have another office in the GTA. Never met this guy.
Is this company or any other company any good? I don´t know and could care less. Do I personally know this Lawyer or these Consultants no.
Buyer Beware, always get references and never retain someone without first researching the company and the representative YOURSELF!

Don´t use any immigration lawyer or consultant service, it´s a waste of money. Just read the official Canadian immigration website.

Status with expired PR Card? (in reply to: Migration Expert)
i have submitted my PR Card for renewal to CIC.
I live and work in Ottawa ON.
Am I illegal residence in Canada till i receive my renewed PR Card?
What is my Current Status in Canada?
Please advice.
