i lost all my documents in fire.i need then back at many places,but dont know where to go.I became canadian citizen in 2006.i lost my indian passport,record of landing.now since i am canadian citizen,can i issue my indian passport again.i need to keep a duplicate copy for dual citizenship.please help me.Thanks.

Do you know that there is an Indian Embassy? Contact them and they will walk you through the exact requirements for that. One thing they will ask is a police report about the fire and possible loss of documents. So you will have to first report this loss, clearly document what papers were lost, to the local RCMP. Then contact the Indian Embassy. Go from there. Good luck.

The first thing to do is to get the report, as Great said. The report has to state that the fire caused considerable loss of documents..(many be to enurmate them)..
Then:
Issue a acanadian passport as an ID.
go to something called Embassy of India..
