We have landed in Canada in June 2006 and got PR.Then we left Canada due to personal inevitable reasons.We are planning to reenter canada by May´2010 and wish to settle down and seek admission to University for my son.
Kumar, I started a new thread for you - the thread you posted to is closed.
We have the following queries:
1)Our PR is valid till June 2011 and whether we will be allowed to enter in Canada by May´2010 ?
2)After our entering into Canada Whether our PR will be renewed by June 2011?
3)If not, whether we will have any options to continue and renew the PR.
Kindly give the clarifications as we wish to settle down in canada.

Here is the rule.
730 in the past 5 years.
You are going to show up at the airport in May 2010 and border officials are going to want to determine how long in the last 5 years you have been living in Canada. If, by May 2010 you have not got a good year in Canada since June 2006 - YOU MAY HAVE A PROBLEM because there is no way you can fulfill the residency requirements in the remaining time on your PR card.
They MAY want to determine how serious you are about establishing yourself in Canada.
Canadians don´t feel to great about people coming just to get their kids a cheap education.
