Subject: employment lawsuite in US
  Hi,

I am currently in US and going to apply for my canadian immigration with AEO soon.

I have an employment lawsuite going on in US which is with my previous employer for "breach of contract"

Will this lawsuite be taken seriously during immigration process?

Please suggest

Thanks

I don´t thin so. The CIC asks for the criminal history or whether you were convicted. You might need to indicate your work experience. Do you have a letter of experience from this employer?

At least you are able to openly sue your employer in the US. Wait till you get to Canada and find how hypocritical the system is here.
Best of Luck

Thanks for the reply guys .... though employment lawsuite should not make any difference.. but it will show up on my back ground check .. that concerns me ..

My canada immigartion lawyer though will explain the details in the application itself .

Shouldn´t be in your background check.
That is a civil matter not criminal.

Cheers,

Bill
