PRTD - Just rubber stamp?

Subject: PRTD - Just rubber stamp?
  I applied for PRTD (permanent resident travel document) through Canadian embassy in Abu dhabi. they returned passport just with a square rubber stamp with "ABDBI" and hand-written "PRTD, R0906xxxxx".
There is no signature or mention of Canadian Embassy anywhere. With this they also sent a computerized receipt for CAD 50.

Is this the proper form of PRTD?

Please advise urgently ........ as I may need to cancel my ticket.
