i want to share my views here with others that i got pr within 4 months from india and i got lot of help from other members of this forum,i applied in the month of february 2009 and got pr visa stamps in the month of may 2009 without interview.its like a dream came true i never expected such a fast processing,really canadian are very nice people and they respect the deserving and highly qualified candidate like me.the real factor behind this success is that i have not misrepresentd myself and i expressed every thing in my cover letter frankly and truly.it is suggested to others that never present fraudulant documents and believe in god,visa officers are very trained,intelligent and nice people and they know everything.thnaks for all of intelligent membres here.i am going to migrate with my family very soon,god bless you all as GOD IS REALLY GREAT, as i belong to very poor family and my father and me did lot of struggle and hard work and god blessed me.

Congrats and good luck for your future endeavors.
Although obtaining the PR is a great accomplishment, it is just the first step towards huge challenges you are going to face in Canada. Being away from your family and home to live in Canada is not an easy thing. Moreover, coming from a country like India to Canada is challengable on all life aspects, in contrast to those coming from the United States or Europe.
It seems you are emotional and make judgement on people by simple experiences...this something very common for people coming from the third world. The fact that your application was approved in a short period of time doesn´t mean that Canadians are nice. Those whose applications rejected or subjected to delay think that Canadians terrible. Experiences vary and should not be used in your projection on people. Canadians (and Americans as well) are like vending machine...when you put the coins in the machine, you get the drink you select...If you put less coins than required, you will NEVER get the drink..whatever you do.
It is just a matter of fulfilling the rules and requirements..If a single tiny requirement is missed, the whole application won´t go through..and no body will care.
Keep this in mind when you come here...and don´t be so emtoional in your judgement on people as you do in India as everything here is totally different..

as i have already explained i did lot of hard work and i become habitual to do hard work,i put right coins in the vending machine and i got right drink(pr)and its just beggining and i know very well what is the real working situation in canada,i dont need suggestion on this,but if i am emotional then i am right and i think the people and nations that dont have socialistic approach cant survive for long ,you can take example of recent collapse of USA and EUROPIAN nations economies due to thier capitalist approach ,i think we indians are very emotional and hard worker and dedicated and we can adjust ourselves in any situations as we seen and live hard and difficult life.the aim of my message was not to show myself proudy,but to suggest other people to file thier case on thier own.i have travelled to many Europian countries and even i had job offer from australia but i chose inly canada after studying so many factors.i dont need any suggestion on hard life in canada.thanks a lot

first of all it seems you are jealous and irritated of my migration,but if you are hurted by my privious message then i am sorry.
secondly driving a cab or pizza delivery car is not against the law or anything,its also work (not a cheating or fraud),in the initial years every person do struggle and hard work its not a bad.there are successfull businessmen and women from india in canada and even member of parliaments who migrated from india, i shall come with my driving licence and strong desire to become successfull and economically well setteled citizen and with a dream to become memeber of canadian parliament.I am selected by the honourable government of canada which represent the intelligent peaople of canada.thanks a lot.

Just wanted to mention to Aluminium that I also think he was very lucky to get his PR so quickly... and I think this has very little to do with the fact that he is a hard working person or believes in God ´more´ than others...
Most people who apply to go to Canada wait a long time for an answer... even those who use a representative to make sure they put the correct amount of money in the machine!
Others like myself, are given all sorts of evasive answers when inquiring about the status of their applications... I´ve been waiting 4 yrs for an answer... and nothing! I am just waiting... thanks God I am in no rush to get there or I would be going mental! But do I think I am a bad person and that is why I am not getting an answer? No, that will be stupid to think that way... Do I think God has abandoned me and my family? NO, I am very lucky... we are blessed every day!
Any ways... I just wanted to mention to you (Aluminium) that it is very easy to have faith (in whatever you believe in) when good things happen to you or when things go your way... but true faith is when you know that even in the hardest of times, even when the odds are against you, you will pull through and that God is with you even in the darkest of moments...
So to all of those people who might still be waiting for the ´good´ news from CIC... hang in there... if it is meant to be... it will come to you!

Aluminium, first... congratulations. Now the hard part starts.
For the rest of us who have lived on this forum for a long time, Aluminium´s application is one of the first I have seen pop out the other end under the new rules. It confirms 2 things - they are processing in 2 streams. pre NOC restrictions and post NOC restrictions which is pretty much what we suspected would happen. The second is that CIC promised answers within a year of application - so we now have also seen this occur. I think we were far more skeptical on this last point. While I believe in God, I am not sure any miracles are involved in this situation beyond the government actually doing what it said it would!! (hang on... maybe that does qualify as a miracle)
What is left to be determined is how this is going to impact the old rules applications. My guess is they will use the old applications to top up the annual quota until the old files are exhausted. This could take a while for those countries with a significant backlog.
For those applicants who qualify under the new rules that applied under the old... you may want to have a serious look at whether you would benefit from withdrawing your application and reapplying.

Congratulation Aluminium, seriously Roy and Sharon and some other people are very helpful and kind, but some like the guy asking you to bring ur Drivers license for Pizza Delivery are on medicines. But do bring your Drivers license coz if you have a car its convenient. Wish you luck and happiness in your pursuit.

We need some highly educated desi cab drivers for GTA.
being a member parliment is a good thing but abuse the people is other thing. I know Indo/Canadian member parliment who still thinks that she is in India and she treat her nanny with very unhumen way.
I hope that you´ll not fallow her foot steps, if you becomes member parliment in the years ahead!!!

i think ANONYMOUS ***.183.28.90 is failed and disappointed and is a person of narrow thinking.my friend its a time of globalization and competition.criticising others is easy.only that person will survive who is hard worker and higly cometitive.driving a cab is not bad(even i supplied newspaperS on bicycle in my childhood to pay for books and schooling) and i will drive a cab in the initial years and serve you and later a person like you may drive my car while i will be sitting on the back seat as a successfull businessman or MP.Even mr.OBAMA has also suggested to the students and children of USA to do lot of of study otherwise chinese and indians may overtake and become the leaders of the world.i am a devottee of lord jesus and my father has taught me to develope a thinking of universal brotherhood and peace.i think you should never develop a thinking like a racist and go to the book shop and buy a book on history and learn about the great people like A. LINCOLN,NELSON MANDELA,MAHATMA GANDHI,MOTHER TERESSA AND recent charming personality of mr. OBAMA.THEY ALL HAVE DONE LOT OF STRUGGLE IN THIER LIFE.If you have good knowledge like ROY, SHARON and other people about immigtarion then you should help the other people on this forum,otherwise you should go and learn how to drive a car of suceessfull canadian businesman.people like you are trying to damage the image of great people and great country like canada.Canada and its people are my future and i am committed to serve them till my death whether i am driver or an MP or an OFFICER.THANKS A LOT.
