I meet the requirements for a temporary work permit under the IT Worker Visa program. However, I need a job offer to apply. How do I go about finding jobs that understand this process. Most employers want to know if you are permitted to work in Canada first and under this program you´re not allowed to work until you get the job offer. Essentially it´s a catch 22.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

this is a really bad time to be finding a job offer. 2 things going against you - finding an employer that actually needs a IT professional (the sector is affected by the same economy as everyone else) and then finding an employer willing to dance the HRDC criteria.
