Subject: Deported from Germany can apply for PR? |
I was asked to leave Germany for failure to pay for the second part of my studies three years ago after refusal to renew the Visa, I overstayed but when asked to leave I left in time by myself, am I eligible to be sponsored as a family class outside Canada for PR or will my application be refused?

(in reply to: Deported from Germany can apply for PR?) Been refused entry to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
Please familiarize yourself with how to overcome inadmissibility at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5312E3.asp

(in reply to: Deported from Germany can apply for PR?) The troubles you had in Germany should not prevent you from being sponsored as a member of the family class, unless you have some criminal issues as well.

(in reply to: Deported from Germany can apply for PR?) 1234, Thank you for the reply; I´m not quite sure if overstaying a student visa is a criminal offense, since I was asked to leave the country with no charges or anything, and took a train to the airport alone picked up my passport and left. I´m pretty certain I can get a criminal clearance from Germany, I was only arrested once for not having my passport with me, then let go and asked to bring it the next day.
About the link, I have no criminal record whatsoever, I can get the certificates from everywhere I´ve been.
Amir,
Thank you, no criminal issues, denied visa renewal ->overstayed trying to solve the problem->Asked to leave.
This link I think is similar:

Thank you all for your replies.
