I am a Canadian citizen currently living outside Canada and I am married. Now, I intend to apply for sponsorship of my wife to Canada. I have read the document checklist at CIC website. Can anyone tell me if I have to fillout the ´Sponsorship Evaluation´ form? I have been working for the past 2 years outside Canada. Do I need to show this income which amounts to Cdn $500? I have maintained my account in Canada, but again it doesn´t add up to the minimum, of Cdn $21k (approx), as per the regulations. Will my account balance be suffice? I am intending to shift back to Canada first, before applying for sponsorship. However, can i still avail the option for applying for sponsorship from outside Canada? I have read it is faster.
